Better Web For All
A small team of earlier contributors of AdBlock is trying to make the web a better place by building free products for all.
Our products
Phoenix Ad Blocker
A browser's extension that focuses entirely on blocking ads and trackers without locking any feature behind payments.
Learn moreWho We Are
Better Web For All is an employee-owned and operated company founded by some of the earlier contributors of AdBlock. 140 million people trusted what we built to protect their privacy and block ads.
Over the years, we watched the industry evolve. We saw how business pressures can shift priorities. How revenue needs can create conflicts between serving users and generating income.
We learned an important lesson: the best way to serve users is to eliminate conflicts of interest entirely.
Why should you choose our products?
Forever Free
No paywalls. No premium tiers. No "Pro" features that should be standard. Our products work fully for everyone. Donations accepted but never required.
Privacy by Architecture
We don't collect browsing data because our system can't. All filtering happens locally. Your data never leaves your device. It is impossible for us to spy on you.
Can't Be Sold Out
Employee-owned and operated. No CEO to sell the company. No investors to pressure us. Every team member has equal say. You can't buy what isn't for sale.
How Will You Sustain This?
Fair question. We're not trying to build a billion-dollar company. We're building a tool that serves users.
Donation-Based
When our products launch, we'll ask for optional donations. That's it. No paywalls. No data sales. Support us if you can, use our products either way.
It Works
Donation models work when users trust the mission. Wikipedia raises $185M/year from donations. Signal supports millions of users. Mozilla sustains Firefox.
Small Team, Big Impact
We don't need hundreds of millions. If we can support 7 to 10 contributors full-time, we can build an excellent ad blocker. That's the goal.
Our commitment: If donations can't sustain our products, we'll stop maintaining them before compromising.
